About Kirby Land & Cattle
Kirby Land & Cattle is a family-run farm built on hard work, responsible land stewardship, and a practical approach to raising cattle and meat goats. We believe good food begins with healthy land, well-cared-for animals, and people who take pride in what they raise.
Our philosophy is about balance—combining proven farming traditions with modern practices that improve animal health, responsible land use, and the overall quality of our livestock. We focus on consistent, hands-on management rather than volume, shortcuts, or unnecessary claims. We believe the care we put into our land and animals should be reflected in the products we provide.
Our meat-goat journey began about four years ago with just six goats and a goal of providing families with quality, locally raised goat meat. Since then, our herd has grown to approximately 48 goats, and we have established a healthy, dependable closed herd.
We raise TexMaster-Kiko females and recently added a full-blood TexMaster buck to continue improving the strength, quality, and consistency of our herd. We offer grass-fed or grain-finished goats, along with altered or unaltered options, depending on the customer’s needs.
Our goats are professionally processed, and inspected goat meat is available by the cut. USDA-inspected or state-inspected processing options are available depending on the customer’s needs and applicable requirements.
Kirby Land & Cattle is more than a business. This is our land, our livestock, and our family’s way of life. From pasture and breeding decisions to processing and delivery, our goal remains simple: to provide quality beef and goat meat raised with care by people you can know and trust.
